Men's Golf: Lincoln at Washburn

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Lincoln men's golf team opened the fall season Monday and Tuesday in the Washburn Invitational at Topeka Country Club.

The Blue Tigers finished last out of 19 school in the final team standings with a three-round total of 1,003.

Remon Rabie and Hunter Ramirez led Lincoln by tying for 96th in the individual standings with a 32-over 245 in the 54-hole event. Both golfers shoot their best in the third round, with Ramirez closing with a 75 and Rabie posting an 80.

Dedrick Harris tied for 108th with a 256, while Brett Trowbridge (Jefferson City High School) tied for 111th with a 257. Rory Bills rounded out Lincoln's performance by finishing 116th with a 290.

Arkansas Tech won the team title with an 11-over 863. Washburn's Dawson Wills was the individual champion, shooting a 2-under 211 to win by one stroke.

Lincoln will play Sept. 27-28 in the Watkins Invitational, hosted by Winona State in Lake City, Minn.
