FAYETTE — Krystal Brauner finished with a team-high 22 digs, Annabelle Maassen added 18 digs and nine kills, and Callie Henson recorded 11 kills Friday to lead Central Methodist to a 25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-18 win against Evangel.

Brauner (Helias High School), a sophomore libero, leads the Eagles with 315 digs this season, which is tied for 42nd nationally in the NAIA.

Maassen (Jefferson City High School), a freshman outside hitter, is second behind Brauner with 198 digs. Her 135 kills are fourth-best on the Eagles.

Henson (Helias High School), a sophomore right-side hitter, leads the team with 193 kills, averaging 2.6 kills per set.

Earlier this season, Henson was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference volleyball attacker of the week Sept. 6. Brauner was picked as the Heart's volleyball defender of the week Sept. 13.

Central Methodist (16-3), ranked No. 11 in the NAIA, plays Tuesday at MidAmerica Nazarene.
