ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Drury junior Peter Kuster won both of his matches by major decision Sunday in the Panthers' season-opening duals against Indianapolis and Ouachita Baptist.
Kuster (Jefferson City High School), wrestling at 141 pounds, opened the day against Indianapolis' Brayden Lowery, winning that match 17-3. Drury would drop the dual 26-17 to Indianapolis, which is ranked No. 11 in NCAA Division II.
In his next match, Kuster won 14-3 against Ouachita Baptist's Jessie Hodge. Drury won the dual 34-9.
Kuster is ranked No. 8 nationally at 141 in Division II by InterMat.
Drury (1-1), ranked No. 19 in Division II, will wrestle four duals next Sunday at Newman against Fort Hays State, Central Oklahoma, Emmanuel and Newman.
