PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley freshman Camryn Schaller pitched a complete game April 17, leading the Braves to a 3-1 win against Indiana State.
Schaller (Southern Boone High School) struck out six batters in seven innings, allowing one run and one walk while scattering seven hits.
Following this performance, Schaller was named the Missouri Valley Conference softball newcomer of the week.
Schaller has pitched in 18 games this season, including five starts. She has a 4-3 record with three saves, posting a 2.78 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 50 innings pitched.
Bradley (17-17) plays a doubleheader Saturday at Evansville.
