College Softball: Berhorst hits homer No. 4 at State Fair

SEDALIA - State Fair Community College sophomore center fielder Haley Berhorst hit a solo home run April 19 in the Roadrunners' 10-4 win against North Central Missouri College.

Berhorst (New Bloomfield High School) has hit three home runs this season. In 42 games, she is batting .184 (19-for-105) with 21 runs scored and 11 RBI.

Sophomore first baseman Alex Gilliland (Jefferson City High School) went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the win. In 33 games this season, Gilliland is hitting .357 (35-for-98) with 30 RBI, 25 runs scored, eight home runs and eight doubles for State Fair.

Freshman Tabitha Imhoff (Helias High School) closed the win with two scoreless innings, allowing two hits. In 18 pitching appearances this season, Imhoff is 2-1 with one save, posting a 5.09 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 42 innings.

State Fair (16-26) hosts St. Louis Community College today.
