EMPORIA, Kan. - Missouri Western sophomore pitcher Jacob Weirich pitched five solid innings April 18 in the Griffins' 19-4 win against Emporia State.
Weirich (Jefferson City High School) gave up three runs on six hits, walking seven and striking out five in the win.
In 12 outings this season, Weirich has a 2-3 record with one save. He has a 6.68 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 32 innings.
Missouri Western (10-23) hosts Pittsburg State on Friday.
