Women's Basketball: Rhine records double-double for Drake

DES MOINES, Iowa - Drake redshirt senior forward Sara Rhine posted a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds Sunday in the Bulldogs'108-44 win against Evansville.

Rhine (Eldon High School) shot 4-of-8 from the floor in the win, going 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. She played just 20 minutes and nine of her 13 rebounds came on the defensive end.

While Rhine has scored 10 or more points in every game for the Bulldogs this season, it was just her third double-double. She now has 27 double-doubles in her career at Drake.

In 17 games this season, Rhine leads the Bulldogs with 17.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She ranks second in the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring and sixth in rebounding.

Rhine also leads the conference with a 67.2 shooting percentage (127-of-189), which is fourth-best in NCAA Division I.

After Sunday's game, Rhine needs 42 points to reach 2,000 career points at Drake.

Drake (12-5) plays today at Illinois State.
