LEXINGTON, Va. - Army senior Haley Watson helped the Black Knights to a victory in the women's 4x400-meter relay last Saturday in the Keydet Invitational, hosted by Virginia Military Institute.
Watson (Jefferson City High School) and the Black Knights posted a winning time of 3:50.47, finishing nearly two full seconds ahead of runner-up Hampton.
Watson also took third place in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:17.84, trailing only her teammates, Madeline Magoto (2:17.34) and Morgan Chewning-Kulick (2:17.58).
Watson added a fourth-place in the distance medley relay with Army's C relay, which clocked a time of 12:30.07.
Army competes today in the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
