WARRENSBURG - Central Missouri redshirt sophomore catcher Gaven Strobel went 3-for-4 last Friday, helping the Mules to a 16-0 win against Concordia-St. Paul.
Strobel (Jefferson City High School) finished the game with two singles, along with a two-run double in the third inning.
In five games this season, Strobel is batting .308 (4-for-13) with four RBI, two runs scored and a home run.
Central Missouri (11-3), ranked No. 4 in NCAA Division II by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, hosts Rogers State on Friday.
