ALVA, Okla. - Truman State sophomore Connor McKenna earned his first collegiate win last Friday, leading the Bulldogs to a 12-7 victory in their season opener against Northwestern Oklahoma.
McKenna (Helias High School) struck out five batters in five innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk.
Truman State (2-1) plays Saturday at Rogers State.
