OZARK — Drury sophomore Kaden Helsel earned his first win of the season on the mound Sunday in the Panthers' 5-3 victory against East Central.

Helsel (South Callaway High School) allowed just one run and four hits in five innings, walking one and striking out five.

The win improved Helsel's career record to 8-5 with the Panthers in 21 pitching appearances.

Drury (2-1) hosts Winona State on Saturday.
