Men's Basketball: Husting scores season-high 27 points for Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest senior guard Sam Husting finished with a season-high 27 points Wednesday in the Foresters' 108-76 win against Lawrence.

Husting (Helias High School) played 37 minutes and shot 10-of-16 from the floor, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range. It is the third time this season Husting has made six 3s in a game.

In 18 games this season, Husting is averaging 9.3 points per game, scoring 20 or more points in three of his last four games. He leads the Foresters with 52 made 3s this season, shooting 42.3 percent beyond the arc.

Lake Forest (11-10) plays Saturday at Illinois College.
