SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. — Columbia College freshman forward Nick Brandt scored his third goal of the season Saturday in the Cougars' 2-1 win against John Brown.

Brandt (Helias High School) scored off a throw from the right side, got it to the middle in the box and booted it into the bottom left corner of the goal, tying the score at 1 in the 77th minute. The Cougars added another goal on a penalty kick in the 88th minute.

In Saturday's win, Brandt had four shots, including two on goal.

Brandt leads the Cougars in goals, and with an assist earlier this season, he also has a team-high seven points. He has 11 total shots, including six on goal.

Columbia College (4-0), ranked No. 20 in the NAIA, hosts Benedictine today.
