KANSAS CITY - Metropolitan Community College sophomore libero Tori LePage had a career-high 43 digs last Wednesday in the Lakers' 25-27, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 15-10 win against Ottawa's JV team.
LePage (Jefferson City High School) has recorded double-digit digs in 12 of her team's 13 matches this season. Most recently, in a five-set loss Saturday to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, she finished with 31 digs.
For the season, LePage has 304 digs, which ranks second nationally in NJCAA Division II.
MCC (5-8) hosts St. Louis Community College on Friday.
