COLUMBIA — Columbia College freshman forward Nick Brandt recorded an assist in his third straight game Saturday, helping the Cougars to a 1-0 win against Park.

Brandt (Helias High School) assisted Lesia Thetsane's goal in the 47th minute. He also had an assist last Wednesday in a 2-0 win against Missouri Baptist, and before that had a goal and an assist Sept. 27 in the Cougars' 4-0 win at Freed-Hardeman.

For the season, Brandt has five goals and five assists in 11 games for the Cougars, leading the team in both categories. He is also tied for 12th in the NAIA with three game-winning goals.

Columbia College (11-0), ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, plays Saturday at Central Baptist College.
