MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois sophomore guard Elizabeth Lutz finished with a season-high 14 points Tuesday in the Leathernecks' 91-51 win against Illinois-Springfield.
Lutz (California High School) played 20 minutes off the bench, shooting 6-of-12 from the field, including 2-of-5 from 3-point range. She also had two assists and a rebound in the win.
Through three games, Lutz is averaging 9.3 points per game and is 5-of-10 from 3.
Western Illinois (2-1) hosts Southern Illinois today.
