Women's Basketball: Chambly grabs career-high 16 rebounds

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fisk sophomore forward Ileah Chambly recorded her second career double-double Nov. 2 in the Bulldogs' 64-56 win against Cumberlands (Tenn.).

Chambly (Jefferson City High School) grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds to go with 12 points in 34 minutes on the court. She shot 5-of-12 from the field and added four steals on defense. Eleven of her 16 rebounds came on the defensive end.

In five games this season, and starting all five, Chambly is third on the Bulldogs with 9.0 points per game. Her 11.8 rebounds per game ranks 14th in NAIA Division II.

Chambly has posted double-digit rebounds in her last three games, with 15 against Philander Smith (Ark.) on Oct. 30 and 14 against Morris (S.C.) last Saturday.

Fisk (2-3) plays Friday at University of Rio Grande.
