Women's Basketball: Anderson scores 11 points in college debut

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Indiana State freshman guard Caitlin Anderson came off the bench last Thursday to score 11 points in the Sycamores' 84-72 loss to Kansas.

Anderson (Jefferson City High School) shot 4-of-6 from the field and made a three free-throw attempts, playing 20 minutes. She also had two assists, one rebound and one steal for the Sycamores.

In two games this season, Anderson is averaging 6.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game, shooting 62.5 percent from the field.

Indiana State (1-1) plays today at Western Illinois.
