Women's Soccer: LePage scores two goals for William Woods

FULTON - William Woods senior forward Tayler LePage had a pair of goals and an assist last Friday in the Owls' 3-2 win against Harris-Stowe State in the first round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament.

LePage (Jefferson City High School) scored in the 22nd and 36th minutes to put William Woods ahead 3-0 at intermission. She also recorded an assist on Alexis Willingham's goal in the 14th minute.

The goals were the third and fourth this season for LePage, who had six shots in the win. The assist was her second of the year. In 14 games, LePage has taken 41 shots, 21 on goal.

Sophomore forward McKenzie Gourley (Jefferson City High School) picked up an assist on LePage's second goal. It was Gourley's second assist of the season to go with her team-high 22 goals.

William Woods dropped a 3-0 decision Monday to Missouri Baptist in the AMC Tournament semifinals. The Owls end the season with a 12-8 record.
