COLUMBIA - Columbia College freshman libero Ellie Rockers had a match-high eight digs Tuesday in the Cougars' 25-17, 25-15, 25-19 win against Lyon in the first round of the American Midwest Conference Tournament.
Rockers (Helias High School) leads the Cougars with 273 digs in 31 matches this season.
Columbia College (27-4), ranked No. 9 in the NAIA, plays Friday against second-ranked Missouri Baptist in the conference tournament semifinals at top-seeded Park.
