KANSAS CITY - Metropolitan Community College sophomore libero Tori LePage tied for a match-high 19 digs Saturday in the Wolves' 17-25, 20-25, 23-25 loss to Kirkwood Community College in the NJCAA Division II North Central B district championship.
LePage (Jefferson City High School) ends the season with 819 digs, which ranks fourth across all divisions of the NJCAA.
Kirkwood, ranked No. 14 nationally, advances to the NJCAA national tournament next week in Charleston, W.Va.
Metropolitan Community College ends the season with a 13-24 season.
