College Football: Dobbins leads Westminster in rushing

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Westminster sophomore running back Taylor Dobbins had a team-high 75 yards rushing Saturday in the Blue Jays' 27-17 season-finale loss to Northwestern (Minn.).

Dobbins (Versailles High School) had 14 rushing attempts, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.

In four games this season, Dobbins had 49 carries for 270 yards and a touchdown.

Freshman linebacker Michael Trotter (Versailles High School) had one solo stop, one assisted tackle and a quarterback hit in the loss.

In eight games this season, Trotter had nine total tackles, including six solo stops. He also had 2 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Westminster finishes the season with a 4-6 record.
