EMPORIA, Kan. — Emporia State freshman setter Riley Bernskoetter finished with a team-high 16 assists Saturday in the Hornets' 12-25, 20-25, 18-25 loss to Central Oklahoma.

Bernskoetter (Helias High School) also tallied six digs and one block assist in the loss.

In 12 matches this season for the Hornets, Bernskoetter had 116 assists, ranking second on the team, to go with 56 digs.

Emporia State (6-18) hosts Missouri Southern on Friday.
