College Softball: Washington, Schroeder named All-SLIAC

FULTON - Westminster senior Madison Washington and freshman Hannah Schroeder were honored May 2 on the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference all-conference team.

Washington was selected to the All-SLIAC first team, while Schroeder made the third team.

Washington (Jefferson City High School), who made the third team last season, finished the spring with a .439 batting average (29-for-66) with 22 RBI, 13 runs scored and a pair of home runs.

Schroeder (Blair Oaks High School) batted .350 (35-for-100), matching Washington's 22 RBI and scoring a team-high 26 runs. She also led the Blue Jays with five home runs.

Westminster finished the season with a 13-19 record.
