HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Webster freshman Tanner Haugen won both his singles and doubles matches Wednesday in the Gorloks' 7-2 dual win against Thomas College in the Spring Tennis Fest.
Haugen (Jefferson City High School) defeated Jose Alfonso 6-1, 6-1 during singles play. In doubles, he paired with Nicolas Andrade to win 8-2 against John Farrington and Alfonso.
During the spring season, Haugen is 2-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles.
Webster (5-2) wraps up the Hilton Head trip today against Marietta College.
