Nick Brandt of Columbia College was named to the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Team, it was announced Wednesday.
Brandt (Helias High School) was selected to the honorable mention squad. The freshman forward started all 24 games for the Cougars this season, leading the team with seven assists. He also had seven goals for a total of 21 points. Brandt finished 29th in NAIA with four game-winning goals.
Brandt was one of just 11 freshman to be selected as an All-American. The NAIA selects first-, second- and third-teams, as well as honorable mentions.
Columbia College (23-1), who had six players selected as All-Americans, finished the season ranked No. 3 in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Postseason Poll.
