Women's Soccer: Luebbert named all-region

COLUMBIA - Missouri senior midfielder Sara Luebbert was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast second team, Missouri's athletic department announced Monday.

Luebbert (Jefferson City High School) is the first Missouri player to receive all-region second team honors since 2016. She made the all-region third team in 2016 and 2018.

Luebbert ends her career by being named to the all-SEC first team as a junior and senior and the second team as a freshman and sophomore. She was also named the SEC freshman of the year in 2016.

This season, Luebbert scored eight goals and added six assists, giving her 22 points to rank second on the team.

Statistically, she finishes her career in the top 10 at Missouri in goals scored (tied for seventh, 29), assists (tied for eighth, 21), game-winning goals (tied for seventh, eight) and points (eighth, 79).

Missouri ended the season with a 7-10-1 record.
