Men's Basketball: Harrison posts career-high for Westminster

WEBSTER GROVES - Westminster sophomore guard Landon Harrison scored a career-high 21 points Nov. 23 in the Blue Jays' 98-94 win against Manchester in the Webster Classic.

Harrison (Helias High School) finished shooting 9-of-16 from the field and was 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 1-of-2 at the free-throw line. He also recorded five rebounds and three assists.

Sophomore forward Trenton Barbour (Jamestown High School) also started and finished with four points and five rebounds. Junior forward Steven Brandt (Fatima High School) came off the bench and had seven points with a pair of 3-pointers, while sophomore forward Jonathan Geier (Versailles High School) played three minutes off the bench.

In six starts this season, Harrison is second on the Blue Jays with 13.8 points per game, adding 4.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest. Brandt is averaging 4.0 points per game, while Geier and Barbour are averaging 2.8 and 2.5 points, respectively.

Westminster (1-5) plays today at Greenville.
