MU women announce rest of 2019-20 basketball schedule

The Missouri women's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule Wednesday, which features several highlights and shows head coach Robin Pingeton will continue to challenge her team before the start of Southeastern Conference play.

Game times and TV assignments are still forthcoming.

The Tigers open with exhibition games against Truman State (Oct. 24) and Fontbonne (Oct. 29) before a three-game homestand against Western Illinois (Nov. 5), Nebraska (Nov. 10) and Northern Iowa to start the regular season.

Missouri then returns a pair of home-and-home games - Nov. 16 at Green Bay and Nov. 21 at South Dakota - the team lost last season, the program's first home non-conference losses since 2011.

SIU-Edwardsville visits Mizzou Arena on Nov. 24, then Missouri visits Cancun, Mexico, for the Cancun Challenge, where the Tigers are guaranteed games against New Mexico (Nov. 28) and North Carolina (Nov. 29).

The Tigers host Saint Louis on Dec. 5, travel to the other in-state programs UMKC (Dec. 8) and Missouri State (Dec. 15) and finish with home games against Princeton on Dec. 18 and Illinois on Dec. 20.
