The Missouri Tigers will hit the road for the first time this men's basketball season today when they take on the SMU Mustangs in the semifinals of the Jacksonville Classic in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Tigers (2-1) and Mustangs (3-1) will meet at 7 p.m. (CBS Sports Network-TV).

Missouri opened the on-campus portion of the Classic on Thursday night with a 54-37 victory against Northern Illinois. Kobe Brown had a double-double in the victory for the Tigers, totaling 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Wilmore added 11 points while pulling down six rebounds and blocking three shots.

SMU defeated Southeastern Louisiana 78-61 in its on-campus Classic game Thursday night. The Mustangs jumped out to a 50-27 lead at halftime.

Kendric Davis (6-0, sr., guard) led the Mustangs with 25 points in the victory. Marcus Weathers (6-3, sr., guard) added 15 points while pulling down a team-high 12 rebounds. Zurich Phelps (6-3, sr. guard) came off the bench to add 10 points.

Davis leads the team in scoring at 17.8 points per game, followed by Weathers at 13.5 and Emmanuel Bandoumel (6-4, sr., guard) at 10.8.

SMU's lone loss was an 86-63 decision Nov. 12 at Oregon.

The other semifinal will pit Florida State (2-1) against Loyola-Marymount (2-1) at 4:30 p.m.

The third-place game is scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, with the title contest at 7:30 p.m.
