COLUMBIA — Missouri freshman second baseman Trevor Austin hit his second career home run Sunday in the Tigers' 9-4 loss to Georgia.

Austin (Helias High School) hit a solo home run to left field for the game's final run in the bottom of the seventh inning. He finished the game 2-for-3, adding a leadoff single in the third.

In 19 games this season — which includes eight starts — Austin has a .172 batting average (5-for-29) with seven runs scored. His two homers this season have accounted for both his RBI.

Missouri (12-26) plays Friday at Alabama.
