COLUMBIA — Xavier Pinson seems to have made up his mind.

The Missouri sophomore point guard posted a video Monday night on his Instagram account indicating he will withdraw from this summer's NBA Draft process, which included clips of him working out in one of the team's practice uniforms.

At the end of the video, to the sound of a clock ticking, Pinson is seated facing the camera wearing a Mizzou basketball shirt and the words "Unfinished business" appear before fading to a Tigers logo.

Pinson was a dynamic scorer last season and averaged 11.1 points per game. That number increased to 17.3 per game in the final 11 games of the regular season, when Missouri tweaked its offense to more heavily involve ball screens for Pinson and Dru Smith.

Of Missouri's two other potential draft selections, Jeremiah Tilmon Jr. has already said he will return for his senior season, and though he has not yet done so, Mitchell Smith is expected to return as well.

The draft was pushed back from mid-June to Oct. 16 because of concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, and there are still more than 50 college players who intend to stay in the two-round, 60-pick draft.
