BATON ROUGE, La. — The Missouri Tigers got off to a good start Monday night, but the LSU Tigers answered in the second half to take a 66-59 victory in SEC action.

Missouri led 17-12 after one quarter and 38-34 at the half. But LSU came back to tie it at 44 in a low-scoring third quarter before outscoring Missouri 22-14 in the fourth.

Aijha Blackwell finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds for Missouri. Amber Smith added 11 points while pulling down eight rebounds. Hayley Frank also had 11 points for Missouri.

Faustine Aifuwa led four LSU players in double figures with 19 points. She also pulled down 16 rebounds. Jaelyn Richard-Harris added 14, while Khayla Pointer totaled 12 points and Awa Tras chipped in with 11 for LSU (17-5 overall, 7-3 SEC).

Missouri (6-18, 3-8) is back in action Sunday afternoon at home against Florida. Game time is 2 p.m.
