COLUMBIA — Missouri senior forward Sara Luebbert scored the Tigers' lone goal Sunday in the Tigers' 2-1 loss to Loyola of Chicago at Walton Stadium.

Luebbert (Jefferson City High School) scored her third goal of the season in the 52nd minute inside the box, finding the lower-left portion of the goal to put Missouri ahead 1-0.

Loyola of Chicago tied the score in the 76th minute and took the lead with another goal in the 79th minute.

Luebbert is second on the team in goals scored and second in points with nine, recording three assists earlier this season.

The goal was the 24th of her college career, three goals behind Michelle Collins for eighth place on Missouri's all-time list.

Missouri (5-1), off to its best start since 2012, hosts Cal-State Fullerton on Friday.
