After WWII, the Nuremberg Code (1947) established medical ethics principles that protected the rights of individuals to "control their own bodies" and avoid being experimented on through force and deceit. Unvaccinated people make "informed decisions" reading the dissertations of top virologists, who warned of vaccine dangers, deaths! Questions: If "vaccines work," why are the vaccinated getting and dying from the virus, must protect themselves with masks and worried about unvaccinated? Why would you need boosters with every variant? Why does President Biden send unvaccinated "infected illegals" to GOP states, over-running hospitals and then denying the monoclonal antibodies to those states that help cure them? Can the federal government initiate mandates that should be states' rights?
The Supreme Court affirmed the power of government to mandate vaccines back in 1905 with Jacobson v. Massachusetts and related case, Prince v. Massachusetts, but applied only to "state power" and provided no precedent for Biden's federal mandate. Just because states and school boards can require smallpox vaccinations doesn't mean the federal government can require COVID-19 vaccinations. Is it acceptable for a president to do something illegal to control people's behavior? Biden's hurry to buy millions of boosters backfired when the FDA voted them down 16 to 2.
Biden had a bad month. Angered NATO allies and Americans with leaving people behind in Afghanistan. His "Over the Horizon" intelligence killed 10 innocent Afghanis. Upset France breaking a submarine deal. Chaos at the border, raising trillions in taxes, which fast-tracks citizenship for migrants, causing higher inflation! Mandates inoculations cause hospital and nursing home personnel shortages!
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told Fox News reporter Peter Doocy that the 14,000 illegal migrants were only here for a short time! Like they were taking a vacation and would return to Haiti. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Majorkas continually states the border is closed and there's no problem! With Biden's approval numbers in freefall - Democrats worried about the 2022 election, on Sunday 320 illegals were returned to Haiti - a far cry from over 14,000! Since immigration officials won't split up families, many are being dropped in cities around the country.
The true test of our Constitution and rule of law comes in times of crisis, like immigration and health caused by this administration. Will the limits of the federal government's power stand or do we lose our country?
