President Joe Biden set Sept. 11 to remove all U.S. troops and partners out of Afghanistan, for a victory lap and to say he ended the war. Lacking sensitivities for the memories of that horrific 9/11 day, Biden changed the date to Aug. 31 and should have started extractions immediately!
Reuters reported Biden called Afghan leader Ghani on July 23, asking him to "lie" and downplay the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Instead, Ghani exited the country with millions of U.S. dollars.
Common sense indicates you remove the Americans and their partners first, leaving the U.S. military to protect the intelligence, identifications of Americans and partners at the embassy and the $90 billion of advanced weaponry at the Bagram airport with two runways for extraction. Biden did it backward, leaving Americans, their translator and European allies all in danger. The Taliban quickly confiscated America's technical weaponry that Iran can use to fire up nuclear reactors, China to threaten Taiwan and Russia to threaten Ukraine. The weak Biden blamed former President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo because the U.S. media will protect him!
Biden overturned Trump's successes with 17 executive orders on day one of his presidency. Pompeo told Breitbart he worked with the Taliban and former leader Mullah Baradar, who was considered a thoughtful conciliator, plus the Tajiks, the Northern Alliance and Afghan government to reach an agreement "with conditions!" When the Taliban violated this agreement, they were met with force. Trump showed strength and drew down forces to 2,500 troops!
The 5,000 prisoners were Al Qaeda and ISIS, controlled by the Taliban they opposed. Biden stated Al Qaeda was gone, but occupied 15 provinces. All live under the brutality of shariah law and with our "open borders" may already be in America.
Biden called this a success: 13 U.S. soldiers dead - when their bodies were unloaded at Dover, he continually checked his watch. Lost 170 Afghans, the credibility of the world and brought 120,000-plus unvetted Afghans to America. With a million-plus illegals already here, Democrats want to give them voting rights to affect the 2022/2024 elections. More than 130 generals and admirals have called for the resignations of Gen. Mark Milley, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The people you promised to "not leave behind" are screaming - do you hear them, Mr. President?
