I have been hearing a lot about people buying electric cars and the government along with state leaders want to put charging stations in parks and other places.
The solution might be since people have to pay for fuel and pay a gas tax to run their vehicles, the charging station should require them to use a debit or credit card to charge their vehicles.
The charging station could be set at an hourly fee, which will help pay for the maintenance of the highways and help pay gas taxes in the states and interstate of the USA.
They could put them at gas stations all over the state and the nation, so I am pretty sure they get some kind of rebate when buying an electric car so they need to pay their fair share. It's a thought that should be looked into.
