Dear Editor:
I knew when voting for Joe Biden for president that in the past he was sometimes wrong in decisions of national importance. In other words, he was never perfect as his predecessor Donald Trump was considered.
This latest statement by President Biden had me sweating. That statement was about the United States was "Under the Taiwan Relations Act of 1979" we were to defend Taiwan sending troops there to defend it. Biden was totally incorrect as the act states, "The U.S. is committed to only providing arms for its defense" but not troops to defend it. Whew! That was a close one.
