I am writing today to voice my utter disgust with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., concerning its decision to put a freeze on all federal executions until a committee looks into how it is administered. This decision is far beyond insane and disgusting.
My take on all of this would be for far more possibilities of escape from these inmates which would lead to more murders and other crimes. My suggestion for this is that every law enforcement agency captain instructs his sergeant to inform officers that qualification will commence once per month. All officers must obtain a score of 298 or better; if not, they are sent back to the academy until they can.
My reason for this is if they confront a felon who refuses to surrender peaceably, then with the officer's life threatened, deadly force is applied immediately.
