Your Opinion: State of USA

Dear Editor:

Who illegally entered the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday? Individuals did - some instigators, some "sheeple," some without a clue, but there were anti-Trump radicals whose only purpose was to incite, riot and make the resident the scapegoat. A grand jury and special prosecutors need to be appointed to fully investigate all. The DOJ, FBI and judiciary are too corrupt.

The president, U.S. Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz and U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer were free to voice objections as the Constitution allows. Attendees had every right to peacefully assemble and show support for contesting congressional certification. Rep. Luetkemeyer's letter Saturday was right on target and is praiseworthy. Seven hundred and fifty million voted for the president - as did the majority of states - including the seven in question. All have been disenfranchised, and the Constitution was trashed by those states and the courts. Friends suggest distancing from oppressive social sites and media and bring religion in as a foundation to survival - including a friend with his Saturday's opinion letter. I agree with the first part and understand the other, but we citizens cannot abandon our responsibility to rid our nation of corruption.

We cannot have two systems of justice, and the foundation of our country - the Declaration, Constitution and the Bill of Rights - must stand. Individually, we must commit to defend these and rid those who do not.

I do not know the end or how our nation will go forward, but I don't think protesting is over by far. I believe the incoming government and new legislature will be more divisive than under the Obama administration. It will be interesting how the military reacts to a demented, pathetic new president who has an apparent loss of mental fortitude. The socialist, corrupt left elected him.

How long will they take to rule this nation by committee to the ruin? We and the president are just waiting for that failure. We citizens must force continuous counter-reactions upon the new administration until we affect change, freedom and justice.

This paper continues to tout MSM and American Propaganda (AP) news. The headline Friday "Trump calls riots 'heinous act,' concedes" is false. He has never conceded - only acknowledged the election was a fraud and his appeals have been denied. The whole article was AP-slanted bunk to make him look bad. 2020 was terrible; understated, 2021 does not look good either.
