Your Opinion: Hawley stands up to election injustice

Dear Editor:

Happy New Year - I think. I must commend U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley for standing up to challenge the injustice of the several states who have cheated by fraud and other criminal acts. He alone has thus far shown the courage and fortitude necessary to represent we citizens and Missouri - something Blunt dismissed as he was too concerned with his head of the Committee for Presidential Transition - and he has shown his "true colors" with respect to representing us as opposed to Washington, D.C., and the establishment.

I do not know what Jan. 6 will bring regarding the congressional approval of electors, nor do we know the full range of protests and legal challenges still coming, but for sure the next few days and weeks will be a most important period in our nation's history. We cannot afford to lose our Constitutional Republic and for all it stands.

Regardless of upcoming actions of the presidential election, the different states, election boards and political organizations, prosecuting attorneys, heads of states, judges and courts have shown us the extent of corruption our country faces. We must act to correct this and get these people out of office and in prison where they belong. If we do not, We will not have a country worth living for and will have wronged the many who have fought trying to preserve this nation - the United States of America.
