Dear Editor:
People are attacking those not vaccinated and not wearing masks as following misinformation, but what many seem to forget is that this is actually the fault of the government leaders themselves.
When Trump was in office, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others said to ignore Trump and his unfounded claims, go to the Chinese New Year's parties. Officials telling us masks don't work, then tell us they lied and now masks do work, then they tell us they don't work as well as they thought and we need to wear two or more, then an email was leaked that said they lied all this time and they don't work. They tell us don't take the vaccine because it was created by Trump, it isn't safe. Now they are in power and they are telling everyone to take the same vaccine that earlier they told us wasn't safe because of Trump, that if we don't take it, we are stupid Trump supporters, and they will restrict our travel, block us from public buildings, entertainment, and buying food or shopping at local stores, forcing us to order online then the other side puts a higher tax on those shopping online because we aren't shopping locally.
The same vaccine that wasn't safe but now is slowly becoming mandatory, that was 95 percent effective, so we could get rid of the masks and return to normal is not working as well as they thought and people can get and spread COVID-19 even after being vaccinated and now we should wear masks that didn't work, but did work and aren't as effective and don't work but we should wear anyway after taking a vaccine that did work, but isn't working to protect others from those of us not wearing masks and not vaccinated who don't have COVID-19 but can still get COVID-19 from those who are vaccinated and wear masks.
So any wonder why the public is so confused? Yet with this chaos, they want to force us to do what they want right now but in six months after people who didn't follow their instructions lost their jobs, pensions and publicly ostracized only to find out none of it worked anyway? Enough of the insanity and let the nonvaccinated, nonmaskers alone. You are actually killing us, not the other way around.
