Your Opinion: Are you embarrassed now?

Dear Editor:

Last week, the paper published my LTE in which I asked the rhetorical question if anyone who voted Democrat last year regretted their vote. I set forth a litany of misdeeds, lies and other unjustified actions since January that I criticized. No one has challenged those claims, but now there are so many more.

President Biden has shown himself to be a serial liar by repeatedly lying about the Georgia election law, ironically falsely asserting that it is "Jim Crow on steroids," which was repeated by the usual suspects in the press. He has lied so much even the Washington Post has awarded him its highest level of falsehoods. His spokesperson has repeated the lies. Georgia has twice as many days of early voting than liberal New Jersey and New York; Georgia does not prohibit people in line from getting water, but prohibits electioneering toward those people which most other states also prohibit; Georgia requires picture IDs for voting, as do most states. Those who support these requirements are the racists because they insult Black people by claiming Black people don't know how to obtain IDs. It is ironic because Democrats enacted Jim Crow laws.

Biden encouraged MLB to move the All-Star game from Georgia, depriving many lower and middle-class workers the financial benefit of hosting the game. MLB moved the game from Atlanta, a city more than 50 percent Black, to Denver, a city of less than 10 percent Black. That will cost minorities opportunities to share in over $100 million that the game brings to the venue.

MLB has deals with Red China, so MLB thinks it is okay to contract with countries that have concentration camps and no elections but not with Georgia, whose law is less restrictive than the state when MLB is located, New York.

The fear of riots caused Coke and Delta to fall in line, even though they both require picture IDs to vote in stockholder meetings and Delta requires a picture ID to fly. Colorado, which just got the All-Star game, requires picture IDs to vote and has fewer days of early voting than Georgia.

Picture IDs are required to buy cigarettes, alcohol and prescriptions, cash a check, buy a gun, enter many government buildings, board a plane, drive or donate blood.

So, I have another question for those who voted for Biden. Are you now embarrassed?
