Your Opinion: Was Ginsburg right with God?

Dear Editor:

I read with interest in today's paper, Sept. 21, "Ginsburg's impact on women spanned age groups, backgrounds." Justice Ginsburg is being hailed as someone who fought tenaciously for women's rights. The article begins with there were RGB bobbleheads, Halloween getups, the lace collars, the workout videos, "I dissent" T-shirts, refrigerator magnets, the onesies for babies or costumes for cats.

The reference to "onesies for babies" stopped me in my tracks. What babies are we talking about here? Are we talking about those slaughtered in the womb? Are we talking about the failed abortion in which a live child is delivered and made comfortable while doctor and patient discuss whether it should live or die. Of course there are two patients but obviously one is of no real value and has no say as to whether he or she should die.

This champion of women and others like her obviously give no serious thought to what they are doing. Millions and millions of innocent children are murdered via abortion each and every year. Sadly we will never know the great things that may have been accomplished by any one of those precious gifts from God. We will never know as their death was more important to some than a life that could have changed the world.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, like each of us will, has finally faced death. We are told we each will face judgment. I hope in her last moments she was not as concerned with having the last word on her Supreme Court seat but rather making her soul right with our Creator.

The most horrifying words God could say to one would be "I never knew you. Away from me." Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I do hope you were "right" with God as you took your last breath.
