Dear Editor:
I'm seeing the Republican National Convention with dismay. The Hatch Act forbids any member of a current administration, except for the president and vice president, from campaigning in a current political race and yet we've seen numerous members of the administration night after night. Apparently the GOP and the president can ignore the rule of law if it suits them. This blatant disregard for the law marks a new low for the GOP and the office of the president. The arrogance on display here should be a chilling signal to all who believe in the rule of law in America.
