Dear Editor:
I taught in public middle schools for 30 years. Donald Trump - along with his apologists - remind me of the student whose parents were always making excuses for their child's behavior.
If your child is constantly being accused of being a bully, lying, not doing the homework or the reading, cheating, hanging out with a bad crowd, getting into fights, showing up late, all while failing science, math, English, and social studies - along with physical education, art, computers, and foreign language - maybe it's time to realize your child is the problem.
