Your Opinion: Trump's problem with female voters

Dear Editor:

Before President Warren G. Harding died while in office, he verbally gave credit to the recently enfranchised female voter for being the kingmaker in his election to the presidency.

Fast forward to the election of 2018. It was the female voters who ipped the House of Representatives over to the Democrats.

It appears that Trump has asked yesterday for the female voter to "like him." I suspect it will be too little, too late for that to happen. Many of them remember what he said about where he wanted to grab them in his infamous tape with Billy Bush in 2005. It appears that the spread between the females who are for him are outnumbered by 25 points by those females who are against him. One female voter in Pennsylvania this month said she had voted for him in 2016, but now having learned more about the man, she didn't want any of her children to grow up being like him. Ouch.

As the Democratic Party includes more female voters into their ranks, one wonders if the white male-dominated Republican Party will learn where their future lays if they want a future.
