Dear Editor:

The marker at the end of Madison Street near the Governor's Mansion is an informative sign about Lewis and Clark. It was placed there in 1953 by the Jane Randolph Jefferson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Our objectives are to promote patriotism, education and historic preservation.
