Dear Editor:

Over the last few days we have heard the mainstream media declare who is the president, but votes are still being counted. There are irregularities that need to be addressed in several states, so many they could fill a letter to the editor. The votes are also close enough in some states it started an automatic recount. There are lawsuits that are being filed to address these irregularities. If Trump does not concede, there is a whole process that will need to be gone through that not only could end up in the Supreme Court but in Congress itself. So by far this is not over and by far Biden is not yet president.

As far as the country uniting, how can we? Seriously, we have people in the media calling for a list of Trump supporters and holding them accountable and denying them jobs. They continue to call Trump supporters derogatory names and insults. Make false accusations about them. Is this the hand of reconciliation, not one I recognize. They consider it justice but for what? What did Trump do? There is a whole list of positive things that Trump has done that goes well against what we have been told he is. Even if this were not so, punishing his supporters while calling for peace is hypocritical at best. Even now the mainstream media, which has long ago lost credibility is still at their childish nonsense. While buildings burned in the background, they claimed mostly peaceful protests, while Trump supporters were standing in front of a ballot counting center the reporter fain terror and that they needed an exit strategy. Seriously reporters should not try acting; they are horrible at it. Will there be peace only when those calling for it are serious about it. Till then it is only another insult to be added to injuries.
