Your Opinion: When will virus 'miraculously' go away?

Dear Editor:

On Feb. 11, 2020, President Trump gave a rally speech in New Hampshire claiming by April when temperatures rise "the virus" will "miraculously" go away.

According to Channel 17 and Accuweather, over the weekend of July 18 local temperatures were about 97 with a heat index of 102, temperatures have certainly risen. Yet the number of new COVID-19 cases are going up in Missouri. Central Missouri missed his miracle.

Is it too much to ask our governor along with the Missouri Republican Party to invite President Trump to Central Missouri where he can work the miracle he predicted? Not for a campaign rally, but to actually work the miracle he said would come with the warmer weather.
